England Coach Criticizes Grealish Absence

Interim England coach Lee Carsley expressed his disappointment over Manchester City's Jack Grealish missing matches against Greece and the Republic of Ireland due to personal reasons. Meanwhile, Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister faces a lawsuit from his ex-fiancée for compensation.

England Coach Criticizes Grealish Absence

Training of the assembled England team, Lee Carsley, faced criticism from Jamie Carragher for the absence of Manchester City's Jack Grealish in matches against Greece and Ireland. In addition, he had to deal with the refusal of another player, Everton defender Jarrod Branthwaite, who was called up to replace Yarel Konsa from Liverpool.

Carsley stated: "Club medical staff are always in touch with the medical personnel of the assembled, regardless of whether they have players or not. We constantly receive information about injured and recovered players, and from that we always present suitable players. Jack has always been one of them: ready to play, just like that."

On the other hand, Alexey Makalister from Liverpool (25 years old) filed a lawsuit against his former club, which demands compensation for "lost benefits" during their relationship. After Makalister broke off relations with Kamila Mayatt shortly after the victory at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, he moved from Brighton to Liverpool in June 2023 for 35 million pounds sterling and is currently a key player in the team, leading in the Premier League with a gap of 5 points from defending champion Manchester City.
