The Director of the Darts Association of the UAE, Khalifa al-Mutairi, announced the victory of the country in the right to host the Asian Championship in darts in 2025. The tournament will include an additional tournament, making it the first in history to have four stages, instead of three.

"The victory in organizing the championship reflects our ongoing work to strengthen the UAE's status as a global darts hub. Our success in the upcoming tournament will be the result of outstanding cooperation from all stakeholders, and we strive to host yet another exceptional event, contributing to the promotion of this type of sport at both regional and international levels," said al-Mutairi yesterday.

Last January, Dubai hosted the Asian Darts Championship, receiving widespread recognition from global and Asian professional darts committees. This allows the UAE to continue actively strengthening the country's position as a popular venue for major sporting events.

The championship competitions will start on January 25 and 26, 2025, and will last for two days. Each of these days will feature two stages with the participation of the best darts professionals from various regions of Asia.
