The youth soccer team Al-Ahli advanced to the playoffs of the third season of the Western Asian Basketball League for the Persian Gulf zone.
The basketball team of the Al-Ahli youth club secured direct qualification for the playoffs of the "Super Western Asia" league for the Persian Gulf after defeating the hosts from the national team of Kuwait with a score of 90-83. The match took place yesterday, concluding the group stage. The Al-Ahli youth managed to bounce back after a loss in the previous match against Kuwait in Dubai last December, when they lost with a score of 71-75. Winning in the final matches was the decisive factor in achieving first place in the "Knights of Basketball" group, despite the equal score of 11 points with the same teams with five wins and one loss.
The impressive American player Dominic (18 points, five successful rebounds) and the young talent Hamed Abdullah (25 points) led the Al-Ahli youth to victory in the recent times.
