Exciting Competition in ADNOC Pro League

The analysis in the field of sports has confirmed that the first round of the Professional Football League of Abu Dhabi demonstrates the level of competition for the title. It was noted that the clubs Shabab Al-Ahli and Sharjah are clearly ahead in the race for the championship and title. Speaking about key players and transfers in the league after the conclusion of the first round, Khattar stated: "The competition has become clear between Shabab Al-Ahli and Sharjah. They are the most stable in terms of performance results, and the performances of players not only in the league but also in the President's Cup and the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, as well as their participation in the Asian Champions League."

He noted: "Shabab Al-Ahli has already won two titles: the Supercup and the Arabian Shield in the Supercup OAE - Qatar, therefore they are the main contenders in the ongoing battle for the championship title of the second half of the season." Responding to the question about the best local player, Khattar said: "I am happy to return to Majed Hassan and his excellent level of performance in Sharjah. Overall, the level of the presented local players was not noticeable in the first round, as there was a large discrepancy in levels, and it was difficult to identify a player who showed stable performances in the last five matches."

Khattar specified: "If I have to choose the best local player, then I prefer Al-Watar, among which is Hamad Al-Maqbali with Shabab Al-Ahli, who shows excellent results with the team." He added: "What is most important is to find and follow the best local player, but the championship lacks young players and prospective talents. In past seasons, attention was drawn to young players such as Yahya Al-Gassani, Harb Abdullah, and others, but this season, there are no noticeable players who would stand out in the first round."

In response to the question about the best foreign players, he said: "Iranian Sardar Azmoun has demonstrated excellent skills with Shabab Al-Ahli, as well as Ghwiller Baile and Kai Lukas with Sharjah, as well as Markus Milon." He also noted that the surprising player of the first round was Portuguese trainer Paulo Sousa, who leads Shabab Al-Ahli this season, adding that Al-Ain appears to be the most disappointing team in the first round, and that trainer Krispo did not live up to expectations in the first round, therefore was removed from the trainers' position in Al-Ain.
