The Athletic Union of the UAE announced that the International Swimming Federation has approved the hosting of the Dubai International Swimming Championship 2025, which will serve as one of the qualifying tournaments for the World Championships, taking place in Singapore in 2025. This decision emphasizes the growing significance of Dubai as a global center for water sports. The events will be organized by the Athletic Union of the UAE with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and the Hamdan Sports Complex from March 25 to April 28 of the following year. The competition program will feature 5 water sports events, including swimming, water polo, open water swimming, synchronized swimming, and water sports competition. The Athletic Union emphasized that the championship will provide an opportunity for elite swimmers from various countries to compete in a highly competitive atmosphere, ensuring fierce competitions between leading names in world swimming.
