Laurent received a gold medal in the open heavyweight category at the "Wowan Classic International" tournament for bodybuilding and became the national team champion - Ali Zavi. The competition concluded yesterday at the Sheraton JBR hotel in Dubai, organized by the UAE Bodybuilding Federation and Asia.
The athlete managed to obtain an international professional license, which grants the right to participate in international championships. For Ali Zavi, this is the eighth card of this level in his career and the fourth pro card (Superette) at tournaments that will take place in Dubai from 2022 to 2025.
Ali Zavi shared with the words of "Emirates Today": "These positive results reflect the physical and technical power that athletes from the Emirates possess at the heaviest tournaments." He added that holding international tournaments in the Emirates contributes to creating competitive opportunities and stimulates the development of skills among national team athletes.
