Arab Swimmers Set Records at Dubai Open Championship

Arab swimmers achieved remarkable success at the Dubai International Open Swimming Championship 2025, with Tunisia's Habiba Baghith breaking a national record. The event showcased young talents competing alongside Olympic and world champions.


Arab Swimmers Set Records at Dubai Open Championship

At the basis of the Dubai International Open Swimming Championship 2025, Arab swimmers established records for their unions. Tunisian swimmer Habib Belghit set a new Tunisian record in open water swimming.

The competitions attracted many young Arab swimmers who demonstrated a high level at the championship. The tournaments gathered a large number of Olympic champions and world stars, held at the Hamdan Sports Complex in cooperation with Hamilton Aquatics Academy and the Dubai Sports Council.

The events were conducted as part of the strategy for attracting and developing sports talents, initiated by the Dubai Sports Council in partnership with the UAE government to promote and develop talents in various fields.
