Starting from 2027 at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, a significant expansion will begin to ensure continued development and strengthen the tournament's status, which currently hosts the 25th edition of the women's tournament, continuing until March 22 of this year, after which the 33rd edition of the men's tournament will follow, lasting until March 1 of the following year.

The Deputy General Director of Dubai Duty Free, tournament director Salah Tahlak, stated that "the tournament, which consistently establishes itself as one of the best tournaments in world tennis, is moving towards a new expansion, with the stadium capacity to increase by 2027 to 7500 spectators, while the current capacity is 5500 spectators, and also the expansion of the original temporary stadium from 2000 to 2500 spectators."

Tahlak noted: "Tournaments in Dubai have captured a wide audience worldwide since the first launch and have managed to establish their place as one of the best tournaments in world tennis due to their logistical services, which compete with the largest tournaments, and we continue in the same spirit to strengthen our logistical base, including the expansion of the tribune with the aim of attracting a larger number of spectators, especially with the inclusion of the tournament in the category of 1000 points for women."

Regarding the current edition of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships for women, Tahlak remarked: "A major support from the top-ranked players, with the participation of 35 players from the top 10 in the world, provides the tournament with all the ingredients for success and distinction."

In conclusion, he said: "The strength of the participants, especially with the involvement of nine players from the top 10, makes the tournament of significant importance in generating new champions."
