
On Saturday, the second season of the National Championship of the United Arab Emirates in mixed martial arts starts, which will be held for two days at the Al Ahli Dubai club with broad participation from athletes from clubs and academies of the country of various age categories - from cadets and juniors to adults.
The tournament includes competitions in different age categories, starting with cadets (10-11 years old) and adolescents (12-17 years old) and ending with adults (18 years and older). For the latter, engaging bouts are planned, which will bring novelty to this season and give more experienced athletes the opportunity to compete in strong matchups, contributing to increasing the level of competition and demonstrating a high level of sports mastery, reflecting the development of sports in the country.
"This championship is becoming increasingly popular among athletes of different ages, and we are observing a significant rise in interest in mixed martial arts in the UAE," emphasized Mubarak Saleh Al Manhali, the director.
