Football player of the "Kalba" club Ali Salmin shared that during the month of Ramadan, he regularly participates in team training with his team to maintain physical fitness and avoid weight gain. He noted that his favorite hobby during Ramadan is playing on PlayStation, enjoying family gatherings and meeting friends at Ramadan gatherings.

"Ramadan is a month of blessings, and I dedicate my sports training with the team after the nightly Taraweeh prayers. I try to keep up with training so as not to lose the rhythm of matches and maintain weight from excess gain. Usually, a training session lasts about two hours," Salmin said for "Emirates Today."

"During Ramadan, there are many favorite dishes and snacks, but I prefer sweets, bread, and baklava," he added. Ali Salmin (30 years old) is a prominent football talent and a key player for "Al-Vasl" and the national team, after he excelled recently in the club "Kalba" on the basis of a loan.

Evaluating his experience playing in "Kalba" and achieving the team’s goals this current season, Ali Salmin said: "The situation for the team is good, as it currently occupies the tenth place with 22 points, and it also has a chance to earn more points and improve its position, as there are still eight rounds in the competition."

Evaluating the chances of the national team for selection to the World Cup 2026, Salmin said: "The upcoming matches of the national team against Iran and North Korea on March 20 and 25 will be crucial for selecting the team for the World Cup, as the points in these matches, if earned, will help the national team and enhance its opportunity after the last two rounds in the qualifying round against the teams of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan."
