Hussain Mahdi Questions Penalty Decision in Ajman Match

Hussain Mahdi Questions Penalty Decision in Ajman Match

A light touch can lead to a penalty decision when the player himself performs the most popular actions of the Nasr football club. Hussein Mahdi refers to a penalty decision that was made during the match against the Ajman team. This dismissed goal allowed "the apples" to maintain a victory with a score of 2-1. It should be noted that this event occurred on the field last Thursday during the 18th round of the championship. According to Hussein Mahdi, such a ruling was erroneous, as, according to him, he was not even a football player of Ajman.

After the completion of this match, Ajman rose to eighth place in the tournament table with 25 points, while Nasr sat in seventh, having 26 points in their account. Hussein Mahdi shared his opinion with the publication "Al-Emarat Al-Youm", asserting that Nasr dominated throughout the match, had more possession of the ball, and attacked the goal more than the opponent. However, Ajman managed to gain victory points precisely from penalties.

Summarizing the game, he added that the team was not bad on the field, as they were the better side and missed several goal-scoring opportunities. He admitted to possible mistakes in their own game, noting that such situations happen and it is necessary to work on correcting situations before stepping onto the field in the upcoming Arab Club Championship Cup tournament.

At the moment, the Nasr team is experiencing difficulties, as in the championship after their last four games, they were lost to three champions (Al-Wasl, Al-Jazira, Ajman) and drew against Bani Yas, which led to a decrease from third position to seventh.
