According to the opinion of sportsmen and football analysts, new faces, among which is the Portuguese coach Paulo Bento, present a great addition for the national team and can solve problems both in defense and in attack. Notably, after the forwards joined the team 'Shardzhi' Kai Lukas and Luan Pereira, as well as defenders 'Al-Waida' Alaa ad-Din Zuhair and Lukas Pimenta, they formed a well-coordinated duo in the team. This allows the coaching staff to address issues that have existed recently.
"The players called up to the national team for the first time showed a high football level in their clubs both locally and in international tournaments, and now they are valuable assets in the hands of coach Bento ahead of the upcoming matches with Iran and North Korea on the 20th and 25th of this month," noted specialists in comments for "Emirates Today."
The coach of the club 'Khorfakkan' Abdulmajid an-Namar noted that the new team composition includes bright players from the national championship, who have recently shown good results, and therefore he is optimistically regarding the capabilities of the national team players.
Commenting on the selection of the national coach, former director of football for the club 'Al-Nasr' and football analyst Khalid al-Obaid noted that the new team composition includes 27 players, among which are newcomers to the national team, such as Kai Lukas and Luan Pereira, and their presence will be a significant advantage, alongside Marcos Miloni, Harib Abdullakhom, and Yahya al-Ghasani.
Ex-player of the national team and national coach for football Naval Mubarak stated that the problem of the national team was in attack, so new faces, as well as the return of forward Sultan Adel, could solve this problem and increase the chances of the national team qualifying for the World Championship.
