In the framework of the 12th edition of the sports tournament "Dubai Sports Event Nad al-Sheba", a plethora of surprises occurred, the main of which was the defeat of the "Zabeel" team, the reigning champion, by the new participant of the tournament "Tadao 1" with a score of 3:1.
Despite the fact that the "Zabeel" team won the first set with a score of 27:25, "Tadao 1" managed to overcome the champions in the next three sets, with scores of 25:20, 25:23, 25:21. In another match, the "Al-Ameid" team secured victory over "H2H" with a score of 3:2, after "H2H" won the first set 25:22.
Abdulaziz al-Sultan, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation, expressed delight about participation in the tournament "Nad al-Sheba", which every year becomes increasingly progressive and well-organized. He encouraged fans to enjoy the game of outstanding world athletes and urged local players to take the opportunity to learn from the best.
In the basketball division for individuals, on the fourth day of the tournament, the "Dubai Municipality" team defeated the "Agency for Community Development" team with a score of 20:18, maintaining leadership in their group. The "Dubai Ambulance Service" team also continued the battle for the championship, defeating the "Al-Hamm" team with a score of 24:13, thereby increasing their lead by six points.
In the captivating battles for the tug of war, which took place on the second day of the competition, the teams demonstrated a high level of excellence. Large masses of spectators were treated to entertainment following each matchup. The "National Guard" team secured a victory over the Dubai Police team with a score of 2:0, while the Ministry of Defense team defeated the State Security team with the same score.
