Luka Milivojević, football player of "Shabab Al-Ahli", confirmed that his team was trying to get back into the game against "Al-Wasl" and achieve equality in the last minutes of the match, but unfortunately could not do so in the game that took place yesterday, on Saturday, as part of the 23rd round of the Professional League OAE.
"Shabab Al-Ahli had a great fight... We conceded an unexpected goal, not due to our fault, and the second goal was the result of a mistake, which is unavoidable in football. However, in the final outcome, we lost three points, although we tried to secure the title in the match against "Al-Wasl" before stepping into the final of the President's Cup.
Milivojević stated: "We apologize to the fans and are saddened by our first defeat in the championship. We certainly aimed for victory, but we are confident that we can compensate for the loss in the upcoming matches. In football, there are both victories and defeats. We tried to maintain our unbeaten record throughout the season so that the fans would be happy, but the defeat remains unprecedented in the world of football."
