UEFA announced on Friday the list of member associations interested in hosting the UEFA Champions League final. The decision on the host country will be made in the near future. The final of one of the most prestigious football tournaments in the world will take place next year. Participating in the bidding process will allow the country to showcase its sports infrastructure and organizational capabilities to all of Europe. "We are pleased to see great interest from many countries," said a UEFA representative. "This demonstrates the high status of the Champions League." The deadline for applications has already passed.
