Al Wahda player Facundo Daniel expressed his great joy after the 3-2 victory over Al Nasr in the seventh round of the ADNOC Pro League. He confirmed that the victory was well-deserved after a great effort from the players throughout both halves of the match, while also revealing the reason for his emotional breakdown after scoring the first goal. Facundo told "Emirates Today" that his mother is facing some health issues in Argentina, explaining: "After I scored the goal, I immediately thought of my mother, and I couldn't hold back my tears. Despite her problems, she always supports me and sends her greetings from Argentina." He added: "I work hard so that my mother can be proud of me, and I always try to balance my family life with my professional football career. The Al Wahda club also played a big role in helping me get through that period, whether through the support of the technical staff, the players, or the administration. Human solidarity is what distinguishes the club and makes it an ideal environment for any professional player."

Regarding the match, Facundo said: "The team entered the match with a winning mentality from the first moment and succeeded in imposing its style on a strong opponent that features distinguished players and an experienced coach." He added: "The three points were precious because they came against an organized team that is difficult to beat, as this victory will give the group a significant morale boost in their league journey, especially with the start of a more difficult phase where the competition between all teams increases."

Facundo also pointed out that his relationship with his teammates is excellent both on and off the pitch, and that the great harmony among the players is reflected in their collective performance. Facundo revealed that the match was difficult physically and tactically, but the team's unity was a crucial factor in achieving the victory. He said: "Al Wahda has players capable of controlling the pace of the match, either through possession or good defensive organization, while the players showed a high fighting spirit throughout the match despite us being behind twice in the result."

On the team's ambitions this season, Facundo stressed that the team has every chance to compete for the top spots in the ADNOC Pro League, explaining that the journey is still in its early stages and that continuing with the same seriousness will lead the team to achieve outstanding results. He continued: "We believe that the path to the top is not easy, but with teamwork and discipline, we can reach the goals that the club set at the beginning of the season, especially since we have a group of distinguished players who combine experience and enthusiasm, which makes us a balanced team capable of challenging until the end."

Facundo also praised the Portuguese coach José Moraes, describing him as having a clear technical vision and extensive experience from his past experiences. He said: "He gives us confidence and encourages us to play with a winning spirit, and this confidence is reflected in our performance on the pitch."

Facundo Daniel also praised the role of the fans in supporting the team, sending them a special message, saying: "The fans of Al Wahda always make the difference, their presence in the stands gives us extra energy, and we promise them that we will fight in every match for them."
