Midfielders Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden have returned to the England squad under coach Thomas Tuchel for the upcoming European qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup against Serbia and Albania. The 'Three Lions' have already secured their place in the finals with two rounds to spare. They will conclude their Group 11 campaign with a match against Serbia at Wembley Stadium next Thursday, followed by a trip to Albania three days later. Bellingham, who plays for Real Madrid, missed the October squad as he was recovering from shoulder surgery. Foden, a Manchester City striker, returns to the national team for the first time since Tuchel's initial camp in March. The most notable new name in the 25-man squad is Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. The squad also includes Nico O'Reilly and Jarell Quansah, who have not previously represented the senior team. Adam Wharton and Nick Pope have also been recalled. Meanwhile, Morgan Gibbs-White, Robin Loftus-Cheek, Miles Lewis-Skelly, James Trafford, and Ollie Watkins have been dropped from the squad. Tuchel did not call up Jack Grealish, who is on loan from Manchester City to Everton, and also omitted right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold from the Liverpool team.
