Arsenal fans believe Arteta deserves the award because his team achieved three clean-sheet victories, progressed in the Carabao Cup, and navigated a Champions League group stage tie. One of them sarcastically said, "We won every game we played, and our goal didn't concede." Amorim, however, stated that his players are the ones who deserve the award. An Arsenal fan also added: "Ultimately, a manager doesn't win this award if he isn't leading the best team." The fans described the federation's decision as "unfair" and "ridiculous." This is the first award for Amorim since he took over as United's manager a year ago.
