The national jujitsu team continues its performance at the World Championship in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 8 to 14. In the under-16 juniors category, the UAE team added four more medals to their tally: one silver and three bronze. This brings the team's total in this age group to 11 medals: 2 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze. Sara Farook won the silver medal in the 48kg category, while Misal Al Hammadi, Ghaya Al Rashidi, and Maya Al Karbi secured bronze medals in the under-36kg and under-40kg categories, respectively. Abdullah Al Zaabi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the UAE Jujitsu Federation, praised the outstanding performance of the female athletes, highlighting their advanced skills, confidence, and discipline, which reflects the high standing of women's jujitsu in the nation. Sara Farook, who won silver, expressed her pride in the achievement, made possible by the support of the technical staff and her teammates. The team is now preparing for the start of the under-18 age group competitions, continuing their quest for medals and a high overall ranking.
