Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze scored two brilliant goals to lead England to a 2-0 victory over Serbia, securing a perfect record of seven wins from seven matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Saka opened the scoring with a superb direct strike in the 28th minute, and substitute Eze sealed the win with a second goal in the 90th minute as some fans were leaving the stadium. England have collected 21 points from seven games and have yet to concede a goal. Having already secured their place in next year's finals in North America as leaders of Group C, the match was somewhat flat. The defeat ended Serbia's hopes of securing a playoff spot and, consequently, qualifying for the finals.
