In the presence of a large crowd and an atmosphere full of excitement and anticipation, the preliminary races for the National Camel Marathon began. The event is organized by Fazza Championships Management at the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Center, on the Al Marmoom racetrack at the Dubai Camel Racing Club. This is part of the preparations for the main event, scheduled for January. The races were held in three different age categories over a 4-kilometer distance. In the first heat (15–17 years old), Ahmed Ali Obaid Al Khateri on 'Mishabbab' took first place with a time of 6:38 minutes, followed by Mansour Ibrahim Hilal on 'Al Luifi' in second place with a time of 6:43 minutes.
