The match took place in the covered hall of Al-Ahli Club. Al-Bataih capitalized on this win, combined with Al-Residence and Affairs Foreigners – Dubai's 3-4 loss to Khorfakkan in the opening match of the round. In another game, Dibba Al-Hisn defeated Al-Yarmuk 6-3. With these results, Al-Bataih's record rose to 12 points from five matches, followed by Al-Residence and Affairs Foreigners – Dubai with nine points from four, then Khorfakkan with seven points, Kalba and Dibba Al-Hisn with six points each, and Al-Yarmuk with no points. Al-Bataih coach Adnan Al-Holli described the victory as 'very important,' as it returned the team to the leadership position it deserves based on its performance. 'The current season is very difficult,' Al-Holli told 'Al-Ittihad' newspaper. 'I can say that five teams are competing for the title, and every result will have a positive or negative impact. Therefore, we focus on maximizing every point. Our goal is to continue our training and present matches in a decent manner. We appreciate the support of the club's board of directors, the technical and administrative staff, and the players. We work as one family to maintain the team's renowned status.'
