The training camp is part of a comprehensive plan aimed at getting the players into peak condition before the tournament begins. Mansoor Buaseiba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Cycling Federation and Head of the National Teams Committee, confirmed that the national team's participation in the Arab Track Championships, hosted by Cairo from December 3rd to 6th, aims to genuinely compete for top positions and enhance the UAE's presence on the podium. The 'White Bicycles' will participate in the championship as part of the national teams' participation program in Arab and continental events. The team will hold a preparatory training camp in Egypt starting next Tuesday to boost the players' readiness and improve their physical and technical levels before the competitions begin. Mansoor Buaseiba told 'Al Ittihad': 'We are going to Cairo to compete and climb the podium. We have full confidence in the players and the technical staff, and we are working to provide all the elements that help them deliver the best performance.' He added: 'We care for all categories (seniors, youth, women) as part of a clear strategy to build a strong base of athletes capable of representing the country in continental and international championships.' The delegation includes National Teams Director Muhammad bin Shafee, along with coach Sherif Abdullah, mechanic Sajeeth, and masseur John. In the first phase, the players will travel to Egypt: Ahmed Al Mansoori, Muhammad Al Mansoori, Muhammad Al Mutaywi, Abdullah Al Hamadi, Muhammad Al Mahraab, Rashid Sowaidan, Harib Al Marzouki, and Abdulaziz Al Hajri. They will begin a specialized preparation program for track races immediately upon their arrival. The rest of the delegation is expected to join on November 29th, led by national team coach Badar Ali Al-Tani, along with youth category players: Yousef Al Amri, Abdullah Al Hashmi, Muhammad Badar Al-Tani, Saif Al Ghawi, and Ali Al Nasirai, in addition to women's category player Mawwa Salman.
