Al Wasl Club has announced the postponement of its match against Esteghlal Iran, which was scheduled for 8:00 PM on Wednesday, to 9:00 PM. A source in Al Wasl Club told "Emirates Today" that the team's bus faced difficulties reaching the match venue, Shahr-e Qods Stadium in Tehran, due to heavy traffic. The source indicated that the start of the match was delayed by an hour after the Al Wasl bus arrived at the stadium just 15 minutes before the originally scheduled kickoff. He stressed that in some cases, the referee can cancel the match and consider the team that arrives late as the loser, referring the matter to the disciplinary committee. However, this case does not apply to Al Wasl Club. It was clarified that the responsibility for the team's arrival at the stadium lies with the home team, as the bus that transported the players is provided by the host club and is also accompanied by a police escort to ensure its safe arrival.
