Khorfakkan's coach, Hassan Abdouli, confirmed that his team gave their all in the match against Al-Wehda, praising the great effort made by the players despite the 1-2 loss in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Professional League Cup (2-2 on aggregate). Abdouli said at the post-match press conference: "The players made a huge effort and no one spared any effort, we tried to manage the match at certain times, and we actually succeeded in controlling the rhythm of play in some moments." He added: "But it is also natural when a team like Al-Wehda dominates periods of the match, it is a strong team that should not be underestimated."
