Rio Ferdinand Calls on Manchester United to Sign Mohamed Salah

Former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand has called on the Red Devils to make an offer for Egyptian Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, while at the same time admitting the move is impossible.

Ferdinand said: "Mohamed Salah cannot go to Manchester United, but if I were in management, I would make him an official offer."

He added: "The situation between Mohamed Salah and Liverpool has reached a deadlock, and it's clear that the club and the manager want him out of their ranks."

Salah was left out of Liverpool's squad for the shock match against Inter Milan, while the team managed to secure a 1-0 win in the Champions League without their star player.

It is not yet known if Salah will return to play when Liverpool resumes their journey in the English Premier League against Brighton on Saturday. If he misses the match, it could already be his last game in a Liverpool shirt, as he is scheduled to join the Egypt national team on December 15 to prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Salah has a stunning goal record of 250 goals in 420 matches for Liverpool, but he is struggling this season, scoring only five goals in all competitions compared to 34 goals last season, which reflects a clear decline in his attacking effectiveness.
