Liverpool manager, the English football champion, Dutch coach Arne Slot, said yesterday that he will speak to Egyptian star Mohamed Salah before deciding on his selection for the match against Brighton today.Salah sparked widespread controversy with his statements, in which he accused the club of 'abandoning him' after he sat on the bench for three consecutive matches, the last of which was a 3-3 draw with Leeds.In his conversation with reporters, he also indicated the breakdown of his relationship with Slot, and the 33-year-old was excluded from his team's lineup to face Inter Milan in the Champions League, which the 'Reds' won 1-0, before he posted a photo of himself alone in the club's gym on social media.Slot said at the pre-match press conference: 'I will have a conversation with Salah, and the result will determine how things will go... I think the next time I talk about Salah, it should be with him, not here'.And Slot concluded: 'I have no reason not to want him to stay, and this is kind of an answer to your question'.
