Ahmed El-Sakka Supports Mohamed Salah in Dispute with Liverpool

Despite the resolution of the crisis between Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah and Liverpool's English management, the media situation remains tense, both from the player's fans and the coach's side. Famous Egyptian actor Ahmed El-Sakka posted multiple videos on social media to support his compatriot Mohamed Salah, reminding the Reds' management of what he brought to the team. The story began with a video Sakka posted on Facebook, addressing Liverpool's fans and management in Salah's defense, introducing himself to the English as one of Egypt's biggest acting stars. He continued: "I am proud to share the same nationality as Mohamed Salah, and I want to remind Liverpool's fans and management what Mo means to the club." He elaborated: "Please remember what Salah has done for Liverpool. In the last 8 years he has been with the club, have you won all these trophies? Can you imagine achieving any of this without him?" He added: "I don't think so... Reconsider your stance on Mohamed Salah. He is an icon not just for Egyptians and Arabs, but for the English people who respect him... Please, show some respect to Mohamed Salah, the captain and the legend, and my regards to the club's management." Sakka later explained that the video aimed at the Reds' management, which was later deleted, was removed due to the policies of Instagram and Facebook, where it was posted. In turn, Liverpool's Dutch manager Arne Slot commented on his refusal to turn his post-match press conference (on Saturday after the Brighton game) into a circus due to the discussions about Mohamed Salah.

Team Victory Leads Championship and Secures World Title

Team Victory has topped the leaderboard for the 'Kilometer Break' qualifying races this season, marking a new achievement for the team that has already secured the 2025 World Championship title in the 'X-Cat' class. This follows the duo of Salem Al-Addadi and Isa Al-Ali winning the 'Kilometer Break' qualifying race for the second main event, which concludes the championship tomorrow, Sunday. The team's total points in this class for the season now stand at 162, placing them one point ahead of Sharjah (161 points) and Fujairah in third with 156 points. In Saturday's 'Kilometer Break' qualifying race, the Al-Addadi and Al-Ali duo, aboard the Victory 7 boat, shone by setting the fastest lap time of 27.435 minutes. Fujairah secured second place with a time of 27.607 minutes, and Sharjah took third with 28.195 minutes. Victory will be the first team to start the main race tomorrow on Jumeirah's Nass Beach in Dubai. They will compete without any pressure, having already clinched the world title yesterday, Friday, after extending their overall season point lead over their closest rivals, Great Britain, to 39 points. Mohammed Harib, Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, praised Team Victory's performance this season and their success in reclaiming the title, which had been absent since 2017. This is the team's seventh championship. The success is doubly significant as they also lead the season's overall points for qualifying races, demonstrating the team's clear technical superiority that has placed them at the top of the standings. This season's X-Cat World Championship also included two rounds in Fujairah and Kuwait, in addition to the Dubai round, featuring a fierce competition among teams from the UAE, Norway, Great Britain, Sweden, Kuwait, and Italy.
