It appears that the relationship between the English club Liverpool and its Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is on the mend, following the Pharaoh's achievement of a new record in the Premier League. Mohamed Salah has topped the list of players with the most goal contributions (both scoring and assisting) for a single club in the Premier League. Thanks to his crucial assist in Liverpool's match against Brighton, his tally with the club reached 277, surpassing Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney. Liverpool published a 52-minute video on its official platform, featuring all 277 goals and assists by Mohamed Salah in the English Premier League for Liverpool, to celebrate his new record. The video was titled: 'Record Breaker... Watch all of Mohamed Salah's goals and assists for Liverpool in the Premier League.' This celebration came after a period of extreme tension in the club's relationship with Salah, which arose last week after he sat on the bench for three consecutive matches. The match against Brighton on Saturday was Salah's last game before he flies to participate with the Pharaohs in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, from December 21 to January 18, 2026.
