The victory went to 'Imperial Empire', owned by 'Deva Racing' and trained by Bob Bymar. The evening began with the 'Al Maktom Challenge', a Group 1 race for purebred Arabian horses, where 'Murad' with jockey Sylvester de Sousa emerged as the winner. The seventh race, the main event of the evening, featured 13 of the best milers in a competitive battle. Jockey Tagg O'Shea guided 'Imperial Empire' to a victory in the final stretch, winning by a head. The program also included races for fillies, speed events, and a conditions race. The global 'Godolphin' team, under trainer Charlie Appleby, had a very successful evening, winning three of the nine races.
