Al Wasl National Football Academy won the title of the 2025 Arab Elite Academies Championship for the under-9 age group. The tournament, organized by Delta ID Sport, was held at Steezens Private School in Dubai, with wide participation from Arab clubs and academies.
The victory came under the direct attention of the club's President, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the close monitoring of the football company led by Ahmed Al-Tiniji and members of the board of directors. The prominent role of the Al Wasl Academy administration, which continues to solidify its methodology based on the early development of players and honing their technical and mental skills from the initial stages, was also crucial.
The tournament saw the participation of teams from private clubs and academies from within and outside the United Arab Emirates, which added a strong competitive spirit to the event and contributed to raising the technical level of the matches, especially given the diversity of football schools and training backgrounds of the participating teams. Hazza Al Ghafri was named the best player, and Ali Adam was named the best coach.
The list of participating countries included the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, and Bahrain, confirming the tournament's wide scope and its transformation into a significant Arab platform for discovering young talents and giving them the opportunity for early exposure in a professional organizational environment.
This victory reflects the prominent position of the Al Wasl Academy at the regional level, as the club's name has been historically associated with titles and organized foundational work, making this achievement a natural extension of a strategy focused on sustainability and building a generation capable of representing the club and Emirati football in the future.
