The second stage of the Dubai Local Rowing Race was held on Saturday in the Jaddaf area of Dubai, organized by the Dubai International Marine Sports Club. The competitions included three heats: two for the local UAE category and one for the open category for government and private entities. In the first heat for the local category, the boat 'Julfar 55', owned by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the Federal Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and skippered by Badr Naser Al Shammari, won the race under the patronage of Spark Group. The boat 'Gold 64' secured second place. The event also saw commendations from Omani participants and special recognition for the outstanding performance of the 'Majid Nasser family'.
