The sand show championship, with the participation of 67 competitors from within the country and abroad, concluded in three main categories as part of the Liwa International Festival 2026.
The «6-cylinder» category was won by Hamad Musa Al-Balushi, with Badr Ahmed from Saudi Arabia in second place, and Sultan Mubarak Al-Kalbani in third.
Saudi competitors dominated the top three positions in the HiLux category, with Ahmed bin Ali Al-Hamad, Muhammad Fahid Al-Subay'i, and Khalif Abdulrahman Al-Khalif taking the podium.
In the «8-cylinder» category, Sultan Mubarak Al-Kalbani claimed the title, with Hamad Saleh Al-Neyhan from Saudi Arabia in second, and Khalifa Salem Al-Ketbi in third.
The sand show championship is part of the sporting events accompanying the festival, which continues to attract large numbers of participants and the public, cementing its status as a sporting and entertainment platform that combines challenge, excitement, and the atmosphere of open festivals.
