The men's basketball team of Al Ahli Club secured a well-deserved victory over hosts Sharjah with a score of 93-68 in a match that brought them together on Thursday, for the 14th and final round of the preliminary round of the men's general league. The round also witnessed the return of Bataeh with a difficult victory against hosts Al Wahda, which came with a five-point difference and a score of 85-80. Al Ahli Youth secured the top of the general standings with 26 points, while defending champions Sharjah finished the preliminary round in second place with 25 points, and Bataeh temporarily advanced to third place with 24 points.
