Manchester City has won the race to sign Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenio from Bournemouth, successfully securing him for $87 million yesterday. The 26-year-old player, who has scored 10 goals in the English Premier League this season, has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract. Several clubs were competing for the Ghanaian striker's services, including City, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham. Reports indicate that the player had a release clause set to expire today. Semenio said, "I am very proud to be joining Manchester City."
