Ajman Coach Comments on Loss to Shabab Al Ahli

The head coach of Ajman, Goran, stated that the absences and injuries affected the team's stability in the ADNOC Pro League, after the 'Orange' lost to Shabab Al Ahli 1-3 in the postponed match of the tenth round at Rashid Stadium in Dubai. He pointed out that the high pace of the match and the difficulty of facing a team with strong names were among the main challenges of the encounter. 'The match was very strong, and playing against a team that possesses this number of distinguished players is always difficult,' Goran told 'Al Ittihad'. 'We tried to be organized defensively, and in some periods we succeeded in pressing and regaining the ball, and we scored a goal before the end of the first half, but I cannot be satisfied with the result despite my happiness with the players' level.' He added: 'In the first half, we had opportunities to reach the goal, but in the second half, the team needed to finish the attacks better and control the ball more.' Goran concluded: 'We will conduct a comprehensive evaluation and analysis of the team, and after that, the appropriate decision will be made.' The Ajman coach added: 'The pace was high, and we needed better decisions in the final third of the field.' Regarding Ajman's fluctuating results and inconsistent level this season, the Serbian coach explained: 'Yes, the team's results are varied, and the reason is that we went through a difficult period due to injuries, especially in the defensive line. We lost matches because the team was playing with a shortage of players, which greatly affected stability. The performance in general is not bad, but the main problem was in the final touch and scoring.' As for the possibility of making changes in the transfer market, Goran said: 'Talking about new deals is premature... our full focus now is on the next match against Dibba, and it is a match of extreme importance for us.'
