The organizing committee of the Salam Cycling Championship contributed to the selection of the race's venue and its 100-kilometer course, as well as its meticulous planning based on nearly a decade of experience in successfully organizing the Salam Championship races. The course, designed specifically for this event, showcased the reserve's rich biodiversity, guiding runners through sand dunes, flamingo lakes, oases, cycling tracks in the Al Qudra area, and conservation trails, offering glimpses of gazelles, Arabian oryx, and migratory birds along the way.
The event aligned with Dubai's long-term strategic vision aimed at enhancing community well-being, supporting outdoor sports, and cementing the emirate's status as a global destination for sports tourism. The race was held entirely within the Al Marmoum Desert Reserve, offering participants a unique and immersive experience in the heart of a protected desert landscape.
