This global initiative calls on participants to submit sustainable and innovative solutions for sporting events, highlighting the UAE's leading efforts in supporting sustainability and innovation in global sports. The initiative is the first of its kind in the world of golf tournaments. It achieved its goal of inviting innovators from around the world to propose bold sustainable solutions for the sporting event. Out of six finalists, the project from Notpla, a leader in packaging made from naturally degrading seaweed, emerged victorious.
