Croatian Damir Krznar has emerged as the leading candidate to coach the Emirati club Khorfakkan. He will replace the local coach Hassan Abdulli, whose contract with the club has expired. In their last match, Khorfakkan drew 0-0 with their guests, Al-Nasr. Both teams showed an equal performance throughout the game, with the home team having a slight edge in the number of attacking initiatives. It is worth noting that 53-year-old Croatian Damir Krznar has extensive experience and a good knowledge of the UAE league. Previously, he worked as an assistant to his fellow countryman Zoran at Al-Ain, as well as coaching several European teams, most recently the Hungarian club Ujpest.
