Khorfakhan FC has appointed a new head coach. Croatian specialist Damir Krznar will take charge of the team, replacing Hassan Abdulli. Krznar, who previously worked in the UAE league and with European teams, faces the task of leading the club out of the relegation zone.

Khorfakhan Football Club announced today the signing of Croatian coach Damir Krznar to lead the team in the upcoming stage, replacing coach Hassan Abdulli. Krznar, who is 53 years old, has extensive experience and a good knowledge of the UAE league, having previously worked as an assistant to his fellow countryman Zoran Mamic during his tenure at Al Ain Club, in addition to working with many European teams, the latest being the Hungarian club Ujpest. Khorfakan currently sits eleventh in the UAE Pro League standings with 12 points and is one of the teams threatened with relegation as the first round of the competition comes to an end.
