The UAE Judo Federation has approved a field program to develop youth and junior teams in preparation for the upcoming Gulf, Arab, and Asian championships in 2026. The Federation confirmed in a statement that the contract with former Uzbek champion Sharafiddin Latfullah to oversee the training of youth, junior, and cadet teams is part of this development plan. The new coach has extensive field and professional experience and has won numerous Olympic, continental, and international titles as both an athlete and a coach. The new coach will begin conducting field visits to judo clubs in the coming period, following the agreement on the stage's objectives and the plan after the coach's meeting.
