The basketball team of Al-Nasr club suffered a 12-point defeat against their Syrian guest Al-Wahda with a score of (75-87) in a match held on Saturday, as part of the first group's second round of the Dubai International Championship. The tournament, in its 35th edition, is taking place at the Rashid bin Hamdan hall and will continue until February 1st. Al-Wahda needed to secure victory by achieving superiority in the first and third quarters with scores of (31-19 and 19-13), while Al-Nasr players dominated the second and fourth quarters with scores of (20-16 and 23-21), which was not enough for 'The Emir' to turn the game around. This marks Al-Nasr's second consecutive loss in the tournament, following yesterday's defeat to Libyan Al-Ittihad with a score of (70-106).
