The second phase of the second season of the University Games 2025-2026 has begun, continuing until February 12 next year. This phase follows the first, which took place from October 13 to November 27 and witnessed intense competitions and a high technical level. In the first phase, 156 teams participated, playing 322 matches across three main sports. This is a clear reflection of the continuous expansion of university sports in the United Arab Emirates. Teams that distinguished themselves and confirmed their readiness for the upcoming phases include the University of Sharjah, the American University in Dubai, the American University of Sharjah, the Rochester Institute of Technology, and New York University Abu Dhabi.
