Al Ahli's goalkeeper, Hamad Al-Maqbali, confirmed that his team has regained its mental and morale strength after a series of difficult results. He pointed out that the losses in two Super Cup finals in less than a month did not discourage the players as some might think, but rather gave them a greater incentive to prove their character and return strongly to the race for titles. Al-Maqbali explained that Al Ahli is a big club by nature, possessing the experience and ability to deal with pressures no matter the circumstances. He told "Al Ittihad": "The win over Ajman 1-0 (yesterday, Wednesday) in the 14th round of the Pro League was an important stop to rebalance the team. We entered the Ajman match with great desire and clear cohesion, we presented a good performance, and Ajman is a respectable and organized team with high quality, yet we managed to impose our style without any pressure, our focus was solely on winning, especially after losing two finals in a short period." He added: "We realize the frustration of the fans after losing two finals, this is a natural feeling, but for us as players... the two losses strengthened our personality and did not weaken the team. In big clubs like Al Ahli, the reaction is more important than any stumble, and that's what we worked on in the past few days." Al-Maqbali indicated that the team is used to competing in multiple tournaments and does not feel any distraction: "Every season we compete in 6 or 7 tournaments, and this is not a new stage for us, there is no pressure inside the team, and every player knows perfectly that he represents a big club that only accepts competing for all titles.
