Today, horse racing enthusiasts are turning their attention to the Jebel Ali racecourse for the eighth event of its new season. The event features eight races sponsored by several national organizations, with a total prize pool of 690,000 dirhams. Ninety-six of the best local and international horses will compete for the titles. All eyes are on the fourth and main race, the 'Test Cup Kilder', which is reserved for purebred Thoroughbreds in a handicap race for horses aged three and over. Seven top sprinters will compete over a 1000-meter sand distance. Among the favorites is the horse 'Rabah', trained by Musbah Al-Mihiri, who returns to the track after winning the 'Dubai Speed Series' over the same distance last November.
