Al Ain football team qualified for the semi-finals of the UAE President's Cup, after a 3-0 clean victory over Dibba. The match, held at Rashid Stadium in Dubai on Saturday evening, was attended by about a thousand spectators. 'The Leader' delivered an outstanding performance, confirming their superiority and securing the qualification spot at the expense of Dibba, who had caused a major upset in the previous round by eliminating Al Wasl. The first half saw a well-organized defensive display from Dibba, who managed to end it goalless. However, Al Ain asserted their dominance at the start of the second half, as Moroccan Sofian Rahimi opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, giving his team a significant boost. Substitute Laba Kodjo extended Al Ain's lead with a second goal in the 76th minute, before Rahimi returned to complete the hat-trick with a third goal in the 79th minute, sealing their passage to the semi-finals.
