Rodri demands referee neutrality after Manchester City draw

Manchester City's Rodri has demanded referees to be 'neutral' in a furious rant after his side suffered another blow in their quest to retain the English Premier League title following a draw with Tottenham on Sunday. City were on course for a win in north London after taking a 2-0 lead, but the momentum shifted in Tottenham's favor when a goal was awarded to Dominic Solanke despite the striker appearing to foul Mark Guehi before touching the ball. Solanke then scored a stunning scorpion kick to equalize, leaving City six points behind leaders Arsenal. 'I know that we have won a lot and people don't want us to win, but the referee has to be neutral, and honestly, it is not fair for me,' Rodri told Stan Sport. He added, 'In the end, when everything is over, we feel frustrated because the mistake is very clear. He kicked his leg, and of course, because of the push from the movement, the ball ended up in the goal.'
