Main 'Dubai Trophy' Race at Meydan Racecourse

All eyes are on the main 'Dubai Trophy' race. Dubai Racing Club hosted the 11th evening of the Dubai Racing Carnival season at Meydan Racecourse on Friday. The event featured 109 horses competing in 8 races, all designated for Purebred Arabians, except for the first race, which was reserved for Arabian Purebreds. The total prize money amounted to 1.8 million dirhams, sponsored by Azizi Development. The sixth and main race, 'Lord Glitters,' is for Purebred Arabians, a handicap (90-110) for horses aged 3 and older competing for the Lord Glitters title. The race covers a distance of 1800 meters on turf and will see 16 horses vying for prize money of up to 350,000 dirhams.
