The Indian team won the title at the 17th Fazza International Championship for Para-Athletes 'Grand Prix - Dubai 2026', which concluded yesterday at the Dubai Club for People of Determination's track. The event featured 500 athletes representing 56 countries.India topped the overall standings with 43 medals, comprising 16 gold, 13 silver, and 14 bronze. The Colombian team secured second place with 20 medals (11 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze), while the Kenyan team finished third with 20 medals as well (6 gold, 12 silver, 2 bronze).The UAE team ended their campaign in fourth place, boosting their total to 27 medals: 6 gold, 9 silver, and 12 bronze. On the final day, they added 3 more bronze medals through Ali Almheiri in the club throw (F32), Insaf Al Naaimi in shot put (F34), and Khadija Al Suwaidi in shot put (F37).
