The tournament, held under the patronage of the Dubai Sports Council, featured 32 teams, including elite global clubs and UAE teams. Other participating clubs included CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria), Celta Vigo (Spain), Levante Azurro (Italy), Riga FC (Latvia), FC Rostov (Russia), Universitatea Craiova (Romania), and Racing Club (Argentina). The tournament is part of the Dubai Sports Council's efforts to attract and develop football talent by organizing competitive events with local and international participation, which helps raise the level of national players and coaches and prepares them to represent the country in various competitions.
